MOBILE — Archbishop Thomas J. Rodi will celebrate the annual All Souls Day Mass Friday, Nov. 2 at The Catholic Cemetery of Mobile, 1700 Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue.
Mass will begin at 10 a.m. behind the mausoleum. In the event of inclement weather, Mass will be held in the mausoleum chapel. The homilist for the Mass will be Rev. Andrew Jones, parochial vicar of Little Flower Parish in Mobile.
The Mass will commemorate the faithful departed and be offered for all the souls in Purgatory. All are invited to attend the Mass and pray for the repose of all the souls.

MONTGOMERY — The third annual Black Catholic History Month celebration in the Archdiocese of Mobile will be Nov. 3 in Montgomery. Archbishop Rodi will be the main celebrant for Mass at 11 a.m. at Resurrection Catholic Church.
This year’s theme is “We’ve Come This Far by Faith: Black and Authentically Catholic.”
The homilist will be Rev. Christopher Rhodes, pastor of three parishes in Louisville, Ky. A 1 p.m. luncheon will follow at the Doubletree Hotel in downtown Montgomery. Attorney Milton C. Davis will be the luncheon speaker.
